And also clear web cache by clicking tools, options and – advance, then ‘ clear now’. It works for me—google got my weakness, shoes… shoes ads, it’s distracting.

Netflix: Isn’t is awesome how it remember where you last left off? This is done through cookies

Should be “how it remembers where”

Amazon (and other shopping sites): They remember what was in your basket last time you visited.

It’s way more than this. For most sites, the cookies are used to track your session, which is how the site knows what was in your basket/cart as you navigate from page to page!

That is to say, many shopping sites will be nonfunctional without cookies, not just less convenient!
